It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Backup and Restore VM
In this chapter we discuss the backup, restore, and data reuse of virtual machine (VM) data. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus supports VM backups on either a VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisors infrastructure. Backups are snapshots based in a block-level incremental forever model: one base full backup is followed by many always incremental backups. Each backup is a Synthetic Full backup which means only one restore activity must be started even if it refers to data of base and incremental backups.
