The Blue Gene/Q Real-time server monitors the database transaction logs and sends events to any connected clients.
16.1 Real-time server
The Real-time server provides real-time notifications of system events to client applications. Applications use the Real-time API, provided as part of the Blue Gene Scheduler APIs, to receive these notifications.
