It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Encryption
Encryption protects against the potential exposure of sensitive user data that is stored on discarded, lost, or stolen storage devices. Both the IBM Storwize V5020 and the IBM Storwize V5030 support optional encryption of data at rest, and an encryption license for each enclosure is required.
Two main encryption methods can be implemented in the Storwize V5000:
•Hardware encryption that is used for serial-attached Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) (SAS) internal storage, for example, an expansion enclosure
