When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic if from now on it was all plain sailing? You’d wake up every morning feeling confident, ready to take on the world and win. Plus, you’d see me as a genius for writing a miracle book! ... But that’s the point; it would be a miracle, unfortunately.
You don’t need me to tell you that it’s not going to be like that. Yes, there’ll be some days when your self-confidence is high and you’ll feel good, but other days will be more challenging. That’s the reality so it’s best not to kid yourself.
Ideally, of course, you’ll have more good days than bad days! There’s no doubt that as you learn to be more confident, the bad days will ...
