Appendix C. Add Picture Files to InfoPath

This appendix presents a method of adding pictures to your forms such that adding an image to a picture button maintains the name of the image file. Otherwise, when adding a picture to your form or a picture button, InfoPath creates a unique filename for the image file. This unique filename is made up of letters and numbers and does not provide a friendly interface when attempting to select images. In either case, these images become embedded within the InfoPath form and the physical files exist with the.XSN package.

Add a Picture as a Resource File

To add pictures to your form such that they may be used as picture buttons while maintaining the filename, follow these steps:
