This chapter presents case studies of existing products and potential products in which digitally designed jacquard textiles may have applications.
Because jacquard fabrics consist of threads that may be interwoven in a variety of constructions, the images produced have a richness of texture and tactile effect that is unique to woven technology, e.g. the shot effect described in Chapter 7.
