Windows Server 2003 Setup works like an able seaman docking a ship to a pier. The seaman tosses a light line to shore and uses it to pull over a heavier line. He wraps the heavier line around a winch and uses it to pull across a much heavier line, and then he uses the heavier line to the secure the ship to the pier.
