EVALUATING LEADERSHIP IMPROVEMENT: USING EXECUTIVE COACHING TO DRIVE CHANGE

INTRODUCTION

This case study explains how the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) has effectively developed its leaders through a 360-degree feedback and coaching program over a 15-year period. Levels 1 and 3 (Kirkpatrick, 2006) metrics demonstrated positive participant reaction and improvement in leadership effectiveness.
