This paper reviews the thinking behind the information and communication technology (ICT) utilization in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and supply chain integration, as well as e-supply business designs. The main objective of the paper is to present the e-supply application based on Internet and agent software technology, and the development road map towards e-supply in the Finnish steel manufacturing industry network.
