Abstract
Performance improvements are considered important for increased production capability and contouring accuracy of CNC machine tools. New generation machine tools look towards more advanced methods for controlling the drives to make the required improvements. The implementation of a previously developed analytical trajectory preshaping controller design technique into a new generation machine tool system is considered.
