Summary

In this chapter, we saw how to use everything we learned so far in this book to build a project you can use in your home: a cloud-controlled door lock. We saw how to control the lock from anywhere in the world, and also how to make the project send notifications automatically to your smartphone when the lock is opened.

There are many ways to improve this project with what you learned in this chapter. One way is of course to add several locks to the same dashboard, and control them all from anywhere. You could also add a timer function to the project, and have the door open automatically between given time intervals (for example for a cleaner to come in).
