Windows Forms was the original Windows client user interface toolkit that shipped with .NET version 1.0. There have been many enhancements and additions since then, but the basic design approach has remained the same. You can use Windows Forms to quickly create programs that match the look and feel of Windows, and there is an extensive market in third-party add-ons that enrich the overall feature set.
