Network Security and Management

Introduction

Network management and especially network security are the hottest areas and issues in the ICT field these days. With the consistent attacks by hackers to our corporate networks and our own personal devices, it appears that these two areas will continue to remain in the forefront of the ICT field for the foreseeable future.

In this chapter, we will cover network security and management. We will start off by discussing the types of attacks and explain how each attack affects our networks and computing devices.
