HELLO WORLD: YOUR FIRST PROGRAM

Welcome to coding.

By the end of this chapter, you'll have created your own new project and written your first bits of code. We start with the classic "Hello World" project that has been a traditional first program to write in a new language since long before I started coding, and then we move on to something with more of a Unity flair to it.

Now that you have the Unity window set up properly (from the previous chapter), it's time to start writing your own code. Not surprisingly, you start this by creating a new project.
