It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendice B. Installare Python 3

Un'installazione standard scarica Python da python.org e aggiunge i programmi di aiuto

Se il tuo lavoro è molto scientifico, potresti preferire ottenere Python in bundle con molti pacchetti scientifici da Anaconda e usare il suo installatore di pacchetti
condainvece dipip.
Windows non ha Python, mentre macOS, Linux e Unix tendono ad avere versioni vecchie. Finché non si aggiornano, potresti dover installare Python 3 da solo.
Controlla la versione di Python
In un terminale o in una finestra di terminale, digita python -V:
$ python -V Python 3.7.2
A seconda del sistema operativo, se non hai Python o se il sistema operativo non lo trova, riceverai un messaggio di errore del tipo comando non trovato.
Se hai Python e la sua versione 2, potresti voler installare Python 3 a livello di sistema o solo per te in un virtualenv (vedi "Usare virtualenv" o "Installare virtualenv"). In questa appendice ti mostro come installare Python 3 a livello di sistema.
