The Hedge Fund Investment Structure
AN INVESTOR can access a hedge fund manager by investing in an existing investment vehicle or by placing assets in a separate managed account and hiring the hedge fund manager to invest them. A hedge fund, like a mutual fund, is an investment vehicle that allows multiple investors to pool their assets and enables them to access hedge fund managers’ specialized knowledge, investment expertise, and innovative trading strategies.
