Chapter 9 and 10 covered two cloud services in Microsoft Azure that provide hyperscale, distributed storage and analytics for big data workloads: Azure Data Lake Store and Azure Data Lake Analytics. As a refresher, Azure Data Lake Store (ADLS) is the storage mechanism for storing data of any size and type, with the ability to scale appropriately as increased demand and ingestion speed increases. Azure Data Lake Store (ADLA) is an analytics service that lets you focus on gaining valuable data insights via writing and running jobs rather than spending time on the infrastructure.
