4 Vehicles, Vehicle Types and Vehicle Formations

This chapter deals with the actual, physical vehicle, as well as the description of vehicle types and the grouping of vehicles into vehicle formations.

First (section 4.1) we will discuss how objects can be identified. Based on the example of vehicle attributes, sections and 4.3 will deal with general design considerations on historicisation, layer creation, relation attributes and configurable attributes.
