So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Nach fast fünf Jahren war wieder eine Überarbeitung des Buches notwendig. Wenn man eine solche Überarbeitung angeht, stellt man sich die Frage, ob grundsätzlich neue Dinge passiert sind oder der Status von IT-Unternehmensarchitektur eher stabil geblieben ist.
Die Antwort ist etwas gespalten: IT-Unternehmensarchitektur, soweit sie sich auf den IT-Anteil bezieht, war schon 2012 relativ stabil und es hat dort auch keine revolutionär neuen Entwicklungen gegeben. Nachfolgend erhalten Sie einen Überblick, wo es Ergänzungen gab. Parallel dazu hat sich »Business Architecture« oder aber auch Enterprise Business Architecture weiterentwickelt und auch verbreitet.
