The Working Group considered that a very detailed analysis was necessary to get precise information about the resonance of a particular transformer. Three different approaches are possible – calculation, measurement or a combination of the two. The calculable number of harmonics depends on the degree of subdivision of the equivalent network. To get sufficient information about the spatial amplitude distribution demands a large number of elements.
