Part IIIAdditional Design Patterns

Additional Design Patterns
In Part I, you saw the Simple Factory pattern that does not directly fall into the GoF design pattern category. In Part III, you’ll see two more non-GoF patterns:
  • Chapter 26 covers the Null Object pattern.

  • Chapter 27 covers the Model-View-Controller(MVC) pattern.

The MVC, a very common pattern, is used when you divide your program logic into interconnected modules/elements. The Null Object pattern deals with the null object in object-oriented programming. Learning about these additional patterns raises your confidence to the next level.
