Eric Freeman, recently named by MIT's Technology Review as one of the 100 top young innovators, is an expert in distributed and network computing. Eric is a co-founder and Chief Technologist of Mirror Worlds Technologies, Inc., a Java and Jini-based software company, and a Fellow at Yale's Center for Internet Studies. Previously, Eric received a Ph.D. from Yale University for his work on the Lifestreams system, an alternative to the desktop metaphor. He recently received a patent for this work (along with David Gelernter), which forms the basis of Mirror Worlds' first products.
