Part 2. jQuery UI Core

Now that you have the basics, it’s time to take a comprehensive look at the components of jQuery UI: twelve jQuery UI widgets (chapters 34), five jQuery UI interactions (chapter 5), numerous jQuery UI effects (chapter 6), and the jQuery UI CSS framework (chapter 7).

You’ll see how each component works, as well as how to apply that knowledge in real-world applications. Your first challenge will be building a sample form so patients can make a medical appointment.

The knowledge you gain in part 2 will prepare you for part 3, where you’ll dig into the more complex parts of jQuery UI, as well as prepare your applications for production.
