I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Other file formats
Julia can work with other human-readable file formats through specialized packages:
- For JSON, use the JSON package. The parse method converts JSON strings into dictionaries, and the json method turns any Julia object into a JSON string.
- For XML, use the LightXML package.
- For YAML, use the YAML package.
- For HDF5 (a common format for scientific data), use the HDF5 package.
- For working with Windows INI files, use the IniFile package.
