The Junos OS provides many tools to help you in the daily activities of running your network operations. You find lots of these tools in the operational mode of the Junos CLI. Others, such as monitoring and logging, are set up in the device configuration, while a few more are applications running on Junos Space (see Chapter 1). Wherever you find them, this chapter introduces you to the tools you'll turn to again and again in your routing, switching, and security devices to operate your network.
