Introduction

This chapter explains various methods to export data from SAS data sets to spreadsheets, and to import data from spreadsheets into SAS data sets. Even if you do most of your work in SAS, you will probably need to exchange data with colleagues in spreadsheet form. Section 3.2 shows how to export SAS data sets as spreadsheets, and Section 3.3 shows how to import spreadsheets as SAS data sets.
