Chapter 5. Electric Machines Laboratory

The main objectives of the laboratory experiments provided here are to help students in observing what happens to the principal electromechanical devices when they are linked to a power source by studying the real-time waveforms and how the devices can be modeled, facilities that are not fully present in conventional methods.

By conducting experiments and making observations in real time on the experimental systems, students can build a good model of the systems that can then be used to perform more detailed analyses.
