Chapter 1. Introduction to Security
Security is a vast topic, and it can be applied to many domains. So a common framework exists for all domains from protecting against network hackers to protecting against fire or flood protection.
This chapter introduces and explains only the major security concepts. It also introduces you to the vocabulary and techniques used throughout this book.
