Dr. Sherif Sakr is an associate professor in the School of Computer Science and

Information Technology at University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He is also a vis-

iting researcher at National ICT Australia (NICTA) and Conjoint Senior Lecturer

at University of New South Wales, Australia. Sherif received his PhD from the

University of Konstanz, Germany in 2007. In 2011, he held a visiting researcherposi-

tion at theeXtreme Computing Group,Microsoft Research Laboratories, Redmond,

WA, USA. In 2012, Sherif held aresearch MTSposition inAlcatel-Lucent Bell Labs.
