Chapter 3 Formatting Pages
3.1 Page Layout
A page has three main components: the head, the main body, and the foot. The size and positioning of these pieces are controlled by various parameters that the user can reset from their default values. The names and purposes of these page layout parameters are shown graphically in Fig. 3.1. To reset some of these parameters from their default values, you would place in the preamble of your document something similar to the following.
