Chapter 6. Management Tools and Toolkits
After your directory server is installed and configured as described in Chapter 4 “Deploying Solaris OE LDAP Naming Services,” you need to start managing your directory data. A variety of tools and toolkits are available for this purpose.
The good news about tools and techniques to manage LDAP directories is that there are so many to choose from. The bad news is that because there are so many, you have the daunting task of having to determine which tools are best suited for your environment. The tools you choose depends on a variety of factors. These include:

Frequency of tasks
Uniqueness of your environment
