THIS QUOTE APPEARED in a cartoon featuring two boys and a dog in David Minton’s book, Teaching Skills in Further and Adult Education.1 The lesson is that just because you’ve been taught something doesn’t mean you’ve learned it. You’ve come to the end of a book on storytelling as a tool for leadership. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve learned the skill. To master the art of storytelling, mostly what you need to do is practice. Practice using the stories you’ve read so far. And start crafting stories of your own, using the tools in this book.
