The Introduction Phase

OK, let's dive into this thing a little deeper. Figure 2.1 is an example of one napkin drawing and the ‘dialogue’ that would accompany it. Let's set the stage. The typical setting is with me as the lead consultant/coach sitting across a cafeteria table or on a tailgate at a construction site in an informal meeting with an organizational leader, or maybe two or three tops. More than that becomes unwieldy crowd control and stifles rich discussion and relationship building.
