In the last chapter we learned how the 9-Step A3 process works. It discussed how champions, team leaders, teams, and facilitators are needed for the Lean process to work. In this chapter we will dive into more detail about the RIE (rapid improvement event) process. This chapter expands on the “event” piece of the cases discussed in the last chapter.
