Zero-knowledge proof
Another technology that has very powerful properties to solve privacy challenges is zero-knowledge proof (ZKP). ZKP allows a user to construct a mathematical proof so that, when a program is executed on some hidden input known only to that user, it has a particular publicly known output, but without revealing any other information beyond this. Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge (Zk-SNARKS) is an even stronger technology in the ZKP protocol.
