A script connected to a button or one made visible in the Scripts menu will run in response to a user’s click. While this gives users easy access to a time-saving and error-avoiding sequence of predefined functions, it has one glaring limitation. The click-to-run approach to scripting requires the user to consciously intend to perform the script function, knowing when and how to invoke it.
