So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Googol
If spellcheck had been around in 1997 or rather, if Stanford students knew how to use it, the face of today's Internet would be much different. Where would we all be without Google? Probably using Googol…. In any case, Google, a word play on googol, provides a number of services to the Internet world, one of which is a free Account that comes with a calendar app; one that is very widely used.
For the remainder of this chapter, we're going to dive into the depths of Google's app locker and pillage for treasure that is widely available to everyone, but only if we know where to look. We'll cover how to create a new app, enable the required services, enable authentication via OAuth (OAuth 2.0 specifically), and then how to code the Force.com ...
