In the previous lesson, we took a rough block out and made some sense of it. We created a detailed walkway and corner platform, as well as an arch to support our platform. We then created the sky dome for our environment. In this lesson, we will get rid of the flat shaded models and bring them to life with texture. In Project 2, you textured a smaller asset. Unlike props, larger environment assets share and reuse textures quite a bit. All walkable surfaces on our platform for example, will use a tileable ground stone texture that we will discuss in more depth.
