Summary

Finally, we have reached the end of the chapter. In this chapter, we learned about Webhooks. We discussed the introduction of Webhooks and how they are different from APIs. We have created a JavaScript function triggered by a Webhook, which gets triggered when the new resource group is added to Azure. We created an activity alert in Azure monitor for a Webhook and bound it to our Azure Function.

Then, we tested our function by creating resource groups. Further, we saw how to bind the Webhook to our Azure Function. We bound it as an output to our HTTP trigger. In the last section of this chapter, we discussed events in relation to Azure Functions.
