When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Docker inbuilt service discovery
The Docker platform inherently supports the service discovery for the containers that are attached to any user-defined network using an embedded Domain Name Service (DNS). This functionality has been added to Docker since the version 1.10. The embedded DNS feature enables the Docker containers to discover each other using their names or aliases within the user-defined network. In other words, the name resolution request from the container is first sent to the embedded DNS. The user-defined network then uses a special 127.0.0.11 IP address for the embedded DNS, which is also listed in /etc/resolv.conf.
