So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Generating a Development Certificate and Profile
Although generating certificates and profiles sounds like a complex process, it is easy to do and, in fact, Xcode can do most of the work for you. This is because you tell Xcode about your developer account (or in some cases, accounts) using the Accounts pane in Preferences, as shown in Figure 15-1.

When you click the + button, you are prompted to enter the Apple ID and password used for your developer account. If you have not yet joined a program, you can click the Join a Program button and be taken to the signup page in Safari.
