Handling asynchronous action creators via middleware

Middleware allows us to modify the behavior of the store. We will discuss middleware in Chapter 12, Extending the Redux Store via Middleware.

redux-thunk is a middleware that checks whether an object or a function is dispatched to the store:

• If an object is dispatched, forward it directly to the root reducer.
• If a function is dispatched, call it with the dispatch function as an argument. The dispatched function does not need to be pure; it can have side effects, such as asynchronous API calls and dispatching multiple actions by calling dispatch.
