So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Record and Play
The facility of recording user steps on a computer and playing them back has made Robotic Process Automation (RPA) highly successful. Without this feature, the adoption of the technology might have been very slow and it would have been seen as another automation/scripting tool.
In the previous chapter, we gained a basic understanding of Robotic process automation. In this chapter, we will see how to use the recorder as the first step of automation in our journey. Before that, let us understand the UiPath tool and learn how to install it (you can only use the recorder after installing it). We will cover:
