GUI Interfaces

elvis, Vim, and vile provide graphical user interface (GUI) versions that can take advantage of a bitmapped display and mouse. Besides supporting X Windows under Unix, support for Microsoft Windows or other windowing systems may also be available. Table 8-1 summarizes the available GUIs for the different clones.
