Understanding the Mission Objectives
The mission objectives can be attempted in any order but must be completed in the following order for maximum points:
Mission Objective 1: Disengaging the Power Interrupt Device
The first objective is to disengage the PID. The following rules pertain to the placement and settings of the PID.
- When the challenge starts, the PID must be in its engaged position (see Figure 5-3). Swivel the moving arms so that they are touching the orange pieces.
- The robot must disengage the PID by moving the swivel arms (see Figure 5-4).
