What makes Web 3.0 tick? It combines all the technologies discussed: blockchain, decentralization, cryptocurrency, NFTs, AI, machine learning, and the Internet of things (IoT). Information is collected and shared between machines, which can sort, collate, and process that information to provide an answer and make improvements without being programmed to do so.1
This chapter looks at these elements and their role in the next generation of the worldwide web. Much of the material will be review.
