So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Week 19: Using LinkedIn Answers
I don’t think people use LinkedIn’s Answers as much as they should be when marketing their business. Answers can serve two roles:
- A great way to position yourself as an expert by answering questions in your area of expertise
- An excellent channel for creating relationships with people who are invested enough in your questions to answer them
I have found excellent resources and even clients through LinkedIn Answers, many of whom I had not previously known. Here’s what I found out: There are a lot of really smart people on LinkedIn.
Where can you find Answers? It’s your first option under the More tab on the main menu bar. When you click Answers, you will land on the Answers home page, as shown in Figure 7-1.
