Siempre que trabajes con Kubernetes, tendrás que encontrar la forma de que los usuarios ajenos a tu clúster puedan hacer peticiones a (algunos de) los servicios que se ejecutan dentro de tu clúster. Este es el problema de entrada (ver Figura 5-1): el clúster quiere proteger todo lo que hay dentro de la gran y temible Internet, pero ahí es donde están tus usuarios legítimos.

Hay toda una clase de aplicaciones ahí fuera,, llamadas controladoresde entrada, cuyo único propósito es resolver el problema de la entrada. Linkerd no incluye un controlador de entrada; en su lugar, te permite engranar el controlador de entrada que quieras, siempre que se sigan ciertas reglas. En este capítulo, aprenderás a hacer que Linkerd y el controlador de entrada que elijas se lleven bien entre sí.
