Now we are getting into the real meat of system administration work, although I think that most people would feel like this is the potatoes. In this chapter we are going to be dealing with all of the parts of system administration that no one can see on our servers. These are those nearly invisible components of our jobs that are so critical and can do so much to separate the juniors from the seniors; the extra steps that make all of the difference when things start to go wrong.
