Comme tu l'as vu au chapitre 8, Excel offre une multitude de fonctions que tu peux utiliser pour l'analyse statistique. Cependant, leur utilisation peut parfois prendre beaucoup de temps.
Une autre approche consiste à utiliser le pack d'outils d'analyse d'Excel, qui est disponible pour Windows et Mac. Ce complément fournit des outils d'analyse de données qui permettent d'effectuer des tâches statistiques et techniques telles que la génération de statistiques, la réalisation de tests d'hypothèse et même l'exécution d'analyses de Fourier.
Ce chapitre te guide dans l'installation de l'Analysis ToolPak et dans l'utilisation de chaque outil qu'il fournit.
9.1 Installation de l'Analysis ToolPak
Problème
Tu as des données que tu veux analyser et tu veux installer une suite d'outils pour t'aider.
Solution
Charge le complément Analysis ToolPak dans Excel. Une fois qu'il est chargé, tu peux accéder au ToolPak à partir du menu Données en allant dans le groupe Analyser et en choisissant Analyse des données.
Pour charger le pack d'outils d'analyse dans Excel pour Windows :

Choisis Fichier ⇒ Options et sélectionne Compléments.

Dans la boîte Gérer située en bas de l'écran, choisis l'option Compléments Excel et clique sur Go.

Dans la boîte de dialogue Compléments, coche la case Analysis ToolPak et clique sur OK.
